SEARCH ENGINE COLLEGE CERTIFICATION
Industry Certification can help you stand out from other applicants when applying for jobs in the search industry and provide tangible proof of your search engine marketing knowledge.
Search Engine College issues all passing graduates of our courses recognized Industry Certification and a dedicated Certification Status page. To qualify, students must take a Certification course version under tutor-supervision and receive at least a 70% pass on their quizzes and final exam AND complete set assignments to the satisfaction of their tutor.
Students who prefer not to receive SEC Certification can take a course via the Self Study method. These students receive the same lesson materials but do not receive tutor-supervision, do not need to submit assignments and do not qualify for SEC Certification.
Tutors must review the assignments of students taking a Certification course before SEC Certification will be granted. There will be no set grade for assignments, except for Pass (competent) or Fail (incompetent).
Students who initially fail an assignment will be given one additional opportunity to submit an assignment for re-grading by tutors. If you fail a Certification course initially and still wish to pursue Certification, you must re-register for the course at a later date and meet the passing requirements.
What You Will Receive:
Every student successfully completing a Certification course at SEC will receive the Search Engine College Seal of Certification to use on their web sites (see below). Each seal will be linked to a student's own dedicated Certification Status page.
They will also receive a hard-copy Certificate of Training that they can display on their wall or with their resume (see below), PLUS a discount coupon towards future courses.

SEC Certification Pathways:
Our Certification Pathways provide students with a higher standard of proficiency than individual courses and have been designed specifically to prepare students for immediate employment in the search industry. Every student successfully completing a Certification Pathway series at SEC will receive a dedicated Search Engine College Seal of Certification in their chosen pathway. These seals can be displayed on a personal or corporate web site (see below).
