Got a question about our affiliate program? You might find the answer below:

1. What is your affiliate commission on sales?

For every individual course or Pathway that you sell for Search Engine College, you will make a generous commission of fifteen (15) percent. So, if a student referred by you registers and pays for one of our less expensive courses (currently priced at USD 195.00), you will make a commission on this sale of USD 29.25. If a student referred by you registers and pays for our Search Engine Marketer Pathway (currently priced at USD 1,495.00), your commission on this sale would be USD 224.25. That's right - $224.25! Most of our courses are priced between these two examples. Our most current affiliate commission rates will always be referred to in this FAQ, so check back if you have any queries.


2. How will I receive commission payments?

All affiliate commissions are paid via PayPal or check. See our Affiliate Terms of Service for more information.


3. How much do I have to make before I can get paid?

Once your affiliate commissions reach USD 200.00, you are entitled to payment, provided all related orders have been successfully processed and have remained in the system for 30 days or more. See our Affiliate Terms of Service for more information.


4. When will I receive payment?

Payments are made once a month, usually within the first week of the calendar month. Orders are not eligible for commissions until thirty (30) days after the order is fulfilled and are paid at the end of the next month after the order was placed. For example, if an order is placed between October 1 and October 31, it will contribute to your October earnings and be included in the first payment after the end of November.

5. How do I sign up?

Easy! You can sign up by completing this form. Once you register, you will receive an email asking you to verify your request. Then you'll receive a welcome email containing your affiliate ID and login instructions. If you haven't received this email, please contact us.


6. Can I use paid-to-surf or traffic exchange programs to promote my affiliate id?

No, absolutely not. Any participation in traffic exchange programs where you are paid in points, cash or other incentives to visit sites is against our Affiliate Terms of Service and will result in your account being deleted.


7. How do I reference your site in order to get my commission on all visitors referred to Search Engine College by me?

You simply use your affiliate link sent to you in your welcome email or any of the marketing creatives provided in within the affiliate login area and the referral should be logged by our system via cookie tracking.


8. I am a current student - can I become an affiliate?

Definitely! As a student, you already know the quality of our courses and will find it easier to recommend them to others. We want to give you recognition for your efforts and encourage you to join our Affiliate program. You can sign up by completing this form.


9. May I see a sample course or lesson before I decide to promote your courses?

Yes. A sample SEC lesson can be downloaded from here.


10. Do you have any materials to help me promote SEC?

Yes, we have a range of marketing materials available, including banners, text links, text ads and articles. These are all available from your affiliate area after login.
11. Where can I get SEC banner ads to use on my site?

Simply sign up as an affiliate and then login via the link sent in your welcome email. Click on the Affiliate Tools link once you've logged in to see all the different banners and links available. Be sure to scroll through all pages of marketing tools to find the ones that appeal to you, there are many more than those that appear on the first page.
12. Can I see some sample code to figure out how to link to your site with my affiliate URL?

It's all located within the Affiliate Tools area after you login to our Affiliate site. The code for each banner / link is included underneath each one. Instructions for integrating them into your site are also included.


13. Do you offer any type of sign-up or performance bonus?

Yes! We give you $2 just for signing up and a $50 bonus when your commissions reach $1000.


14. Can I use my affiliate link to purchase courses from SEC?

You need to be an existing student before you can use your affiliate link to purchase courses. So you cannot use your affiliate link if you haven't purchased from Search Engine College before. But if you've already bought a course from us, feel free to use your affiliate link for future purchases. By using your affiliate link, you will receive a 15% commission from your own orders, indirectly providing you with 15% off the purchase price of any course. Please note that affiliate commissions are not payable on purchases where other discounts are applied.


15. Will I be able to track both referrals and sales?

Yes. In the first week of each month, you will receive a Affiliate Performance Report listing all referrals and sales stemming from your affiliate links for the previous month. You can also login to your Affiliate account area at any time and see these statistics 24/7.
