Q and A: Why has my site suddenly disappeared from Google?

My site appeared with Google for a couple of months and was just suddenly dropped--it will not appear at all now with keywords that used to bring it up first--why would this be? My URL is http://www.freewebs.com/dsjohnson2323/index.htm

Ok, the bad news first:
The Bad news:
1) Your Google Toolbar PageRank is zero out of 10, meaning either the site has been penalized or it just doesn't have enough links pointing to it for Google to consider it to be a high quality site.
2) Your site is actually a free hosted site without it's own domain name and so Google will automatically consider it to be of lower quality than sites with their own domain name. You should buy your own domain.
3) Any link popularity your site does build up will be contributing to the main domain freewebs.com, rather than your own domain. Read my lips: buy your own domain.
4) Your site sits on a sub-directory of another site (freewebs.com/dsjohnson2323/index.htm). Search engines consider content at the top level to be the most important, while content residing in sub-directories and sub-folders is considered of less importance. This means that your site content won't be considered as relevant as content belonging to others that resides at the top level. One more time: buy your own domain.
The Good news:
1) Google has indexed 15 pages of your site, so you have not been dropped and I doubt you've been penalized.
2) You can improve things considerably by customizing the Title and META Tags for each page on your site based on the unique content.
3) If your site is relatively new to Google, it is quite common to see it appear initially and then disappear. New sites are subject to Google's aging delay.
4) Your site hasn't been optimized for search engine compatibility. See this post for more information and consider learning search engine optimization from scratch.
