Q and A: Should I submit articles to attract more links to my site?

Dear Kalena...

Now that Jagger has sunk into place, I'm re-evaluating link strategies. What do you think about providing articles to online libraries like ezine.com? I have gotten some articles picked up with links to my site. Should I do more?

Jeanne

Kalena's Answer:

Dear Jeanne

Article marketing is a great way to build up the link popularity of your website. Particularly if the articles you write and circulate are related to the content on your own site, because the link/s from your articles pointing back to your site usually contain anchor text that includes your target keywords.

By all means, continue to write fresh, relevant articles and submit them to article directories and article announcement lists. You'll find some useful places to circulate your articles in this post I made back in October.

I have an article directory at http://www.eArticlesOnline.com just for this kind of purpose. This is for anyone at any time, not just the person asking the question.

Free article submission for a lot of exposure and website owners also can pick up the article, keeping the resource box and active links, to give you many more backlinks. Check it out.

Content is king. Website owners, bloggers and ezien publishers are hungry for fresh new content. If you are a writer the more places you submit your articles to the more links back to your own website. This is the best way to drive traffic to your site. Another article submission site is Article Boy

Hi,

You can also submit your articles for better exposer to Smash Articles - http://www.smasharticles.com

The site allows links in both the article and author bio box. No registration required, just go and submit.

Thanks
