Q and A: Why has our site been removed from search engines?
Dear Kalena...
Our site at Google and other search engines has been removed. We don't know why, if we have made something wrong, we want to know it.
Please if you help us , how we can be again on the list, please advise us, I hope you can be helpful, thanks.
Best Regards

Dear Nurten
The first thing I noticed when I viewed your site was that you had a Google Toolbar display PageRank of 5, indicating that your site has not been removed from Google at all. Next thing I did was to check when Google last cached your page and that was on October 6. Then I checked for the number of backward links Google is displaying for your site and that showed 194 - a decent number. Finally I did a search in Google limited to pages from your site and this showed that over 400 were currently indexed. Yahoo shows 148 pages indexed.
What I'm guessing here is that you can't find your site when you enter target search queries like "travel to Turkey" and "Turkey hotels", right? That doesn't mean your site has been banned or removed from search engines. It is more likely to indicate a Google Sandbox penalty as defined in yesterday's blog post.
After viewing your site, I am convinced this is the problem, particularly when I spotted the extensive travel links directory you have integrated, accessible at the bottom of your home page. As explained in the linked forum post above, sites that purchase lots of links, integrate links very quickly or use link networks or linking schemes seem to be affected by a longer term "Sandbox" effect where the links seem to be discounted and don't propel the site to the top of the SERP's.
My suggestion is to wait for a few months to see if the sandbox filter is lifted. You might also want to consider removing the link directory from your site. It all depends on the intent of the directory - was it created specifically to increase your site's link popularity and/or search engine rankings? Or was it created to benefit your site visitors and provide them with useful reference sites? Does it provide you with high quality traffic on it's own, regardless of search engine benefits? You'll know what to do once you answer those questions.
