LookSmart want to hear from me

Apparently they don't know why I haven't logged in to my account for over a year and haven't opted-in to their email system.

Well duh! Perhaps I got tired of receiving those weekly "To maintain click-throughs, we recommend topping up your account with $5,000" emails.

Perhaps LookSmart advertising never worked for me or my clients in the first place. Perhaps we are still angry at the way they they forced us to become pay per click advertising clients after promising us a one-time-fee for submitting our sites to their Directory. Perhaps we no longer need them as their search market share has dwindled to obscurity.

And from their email today:

"If you do not respond to this message, you may miss out on news and tips that could increase your search marketing success."

Perhaps not.
